FAQs
What should my child wear for class?
1
Girl gymnasts 5 & older must wear a leotard or one piece bathing suit. Boys can wear shorts or sweatpants with a t-shirt that can be securely tucked in.
Hair that is at or past the shoulder needs to be tied back.
Jewelry needs to be removed before class starts.
Barefoot is preferred because socks and tights are slippery on beam and bars.
Also bringing a water bottle is a great idea!

How do I pay for classes?
2
We offer a variety of payment methods including cash, check, debit/credit card or bill pay. You can also pay through iClassPro by clicking on the "Parent Portal" button at the top-right of the page.
If you register more than one child in classes, the first child is full price, any additional siblings will receive a $5 discount each month.
Tuition is due by the 10th of each month or a $10 late fee will incur. We also offer autopay so that you won’t have to worry about late payments.
How will I know what level / class my child should start at? And how long will it take for my child to progress through each level?

Can parents and family come and watch practices?
Every child is different - strength, flexibility, bravery, and effort in class ultimately determine how long your child will spend in each level. All gymnasts receive strength and flexibility training in every class so your child will become strong enough to do more difficult skills without injury.
You can see all of the different class levels on our class details page.

YES! We offer open enrollment year round. You can see all of our open / available classes through our iClassPro system.
Of course! At GEMS, we encourage parents to come cheer on their gymnast! There is a special viewing area for family members at our facility.
We are sorry to see you go! If you need to drop class for any reason, we require 2 weeks notice. You can notify the front office using the email listed below or the contact us form.
While we cannot guarantee your child will not get sick from participating at the gym and being around other athletes, we can assure you that the gym equipment and other facilities are being cleaned / sanitized frequently in between class groups! We also encourage athletes to wash their hands before and after classes especially during peak cold and flu season.
